IIM Joins the RECA,the Network of French Animation Schools
IIM is a new member of the RECA, the Network of French Animation Schools. It gathers schools renowned among animation professionals, in France and abroad.
The RECA was created and supported by the CNC, the French national center for cinema and animation and various trade unions of the industry.
«Our school has increased its presence in the animated film industry, on the artistic job level but also in production management. We are delighted to join the RECA, a reference association in this sector. This will offer our students more opportunities within French and international animation companies. It will also enable us to take part in the collective brainstorming of the RECA schools on the best way to train professionals in animation, a challenging and ever-evolving sector”. Emmanuel Peter, Head of IIM
Joining the RECA will benefit the 3D animation major of the school.
The RECA aims to convey reliable information on the educational offer in the field of animation, whether for families, future students or career advisers. As for the network members, they commit to deliver verified and clear information on the content and methods of their programmes.
«It is a recognition for IIM, for the educational approach of the 3D animation major and its students. Being a member of the RECA will help us keep on improving the educational approach by working with the other schools of the network. The 3D animation students of IIM will have the opportunity to take part in contests meant for students from schools members of the RECA”. Marc Bellan, Head of the 3D animation major
IIM will join renowned French schools like Gobelins or Émile Cohl of Lyon.
